The Royal Exchange

The Lord Mayor’s March takes place every year in the city of London and is a colourful parade of city livery companies and other members of society.

Many people always wonder about the golden grasshopper on top of the Royal Exchange. The royal exchange was founded by Sir Thomas Gresham in order that merchants would have a place to do their business. In this video Joolz explains about this grasshopper and also the emblems outside the buildings on Lombard Street.
