Primrose Hill Walking Tour

Primrose Hill is one of London’s most beautiful neighbourhoods with many cafes, famous people and a sleepy country village atmosphere. It’s hard to believe you are so close to the centre of London. If you’re looking for a weekend day out in cafes and a nice park then watch this video!

Julian McDonnell, your favourite London Guide and tourism film maker, starts at Chalk Fram Station where Madness took the photo for the cover of Baggy Trousers. Chalk Fram is also the location of the Winchester Club in Minder.
From there he takes you over Chalk Farm Bridge and down Regent’s Park Road and into the village of Primrose Hill which has many cafes.
Then over Primrose Hill itself, which features in H.G. Wells War of the Worlds and down towards Cecil Sharpe House, the Regents Canal and ultimately ending at The Landsdowne Pub.
